Where the Class of 2029 stands
Peer planning snapshot, checked August 20, 2026: if you entered with the cohort expected to graduate in 2029 and remained on its standard path, 2026–27 is your second academic year. Northeastern officially describes FlexJD as an 83-credit, four-year program; ASA must confirm your individual sequence and remaining requirements.
The July 2026 newsletter described this cohort using the then-current Federal Law Clerk Hiring Plan. Treat its January 19, 2027 OSCAR date as historical guidance needing current verification, not a deadline established by this page. Before acting, use the federal judiciary's official OSCAR and hiring-plan materials linked from the newsletter archive.
The currently published 2025–2028 elective projection covers your first two remaining years (2026–27 and 2027–28) in full — your final year, 2028–29, isn't in that table yet. Check back on the Student Guide as ASA extends the projection, and don't lock in a final-year plan around courses that haven't been scheduled yet.
Co-op & Experiential Requirement
NUSL's current admissions page states that the first co-op period takes place in the second spring semester. That is the program's public description, not an individualized placement approval; confirm your cohort calendar with ASA and the Center for Co-op and Career Development.
